Christopher L. Wilhite, DVM
Dr. Wilhite earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1996 from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. In 1998, he founded Wilhite Equine Veterinary Services, P.C., which is now doing business as Wilhite & Frees Equine Veterinary Services. Memberships include: AAEP; AVMA; MVMA; KCVMA; and the Missouri Academy of Veterinary Practitioners (MAVP).

Karl E. Frees, DVM, MS, DACVS
Dr. Frees earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1997 from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. He completed a one-year internship in equine medicine and surgery at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky and a three-year residency in large animal surgery at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. During the residency, Dr. Frees also obtained a Master's Degree in Veterinary Clinical Sciences. Dr. Frees has published articles in scientific journals and serves as a reviewer for the American Journal of Veterinary Research. He is a Diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Memberships include: AAEP; AVMA; MVMA; KCVMA; and the ACVS.

Jill M. Clark, DVM
Dr. Jill Clark joined Wilhite & Frees in August 2006. Dr. Clark graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation, she completed a one year internship at MU in Equine Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Clark grew up in Kansas City and showed Hunter Jumpers before entering Veterinary School.

Kerby C. Weaver, DVM
Dr. Weaver, a native of the Kansas City area, graduated from the University of Missouri, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Prior to joining Wilhite & Frees, Dr. Weaver completed an internship with Peterson & Smith Equine Hospital (www.petersonsmith.com) in Ocala, Florida. Dr. Weaver grew up around horses, and has devoted his practice to the specialty care of our equine athletes.
